Woo hoo! For the second year in a row, A’s team are the cricket champions for his comp. Last year they got the U12/3’s and this year the U14/2’s championship! And miss S’s basketball team absolutely thrashed the opposition yesterday! And the girls and I had a fantastic time at the school fete, where Miss S sang in the school choir, yesterday afternoon.
Which is one of the reasons why my HOE piece is REALLY late! I actually started stitching the Little House Needleworks design at the start of February, but did not get very far. The lighting in our family room is appalling and I have been working long hours at school. I now have a lamp and hopefully will be able to put more time into it this week, so that I can get it off next weekend! Fortunately, it does not have far to go, but it is not fair to the recipient. She should have been receiving it this week, instead of hearing that I am going to be 2 weeks late with the mailout! Argh!
In answer to your query Jantine, although I have the table set up, I am never home long enough to use my sewing room! And I still need to finish painting that wall, but we have been really lucky in that the window was fixed within days. Homes in Rowville and Lysterfield are still waiting to have their windows repaired, despite glaziers coming from far and wide!
But for now, back to my complex numbers for the kids at school!
