Sunday Sewing Basket…

It has been a long time since I posted about what I was stitching on.  This morning I looked at Sophie’s Roses, by Shepherd’s Bush, and realised that I really should give you an update…

I LOVE Le Tour de France.  During these 3 weeks I tend to get a lot of stitching done as I sit watching Le Tour.  Over the past few days I have been working on Sophie’s Roses and getting quite a bit of the backstitching done.  Here is a photo of my current progress.  Tonight I am planning to do a heap more…

And just to show you that I am not only using the sewing machine lately, I have also been working on Berthe Massiet by Reflet de Soie…

Reflet de Soie - Berthe Massiet

If you remember, I started Berthe on New Year’s Day, only to discover that I needed to have less space at the top due to the size of the design, so I unpicked all my stitching and started again.  I did most of this stitching during a 2 hour period at my guidance group, and will probably take her again on Tuesday night.

Until next time…
