I had heard that this movie was fantastic, so last night I decided to go see it. It is everything I had heard. It is both hilarious and sad. It islosely based on the story of the Pilbara Red Dog, which roamed the Pilbara, making friends with everyone and belonging to no one, during the seventies. The story that is told here is from the novel “Red Dog” by English author Louis de Bernieres. I would recommend this movie to everyone, and am considering taking my kids to see it as a family outing.
